3D embossing printing is a specialized embossing technique offered at New World collection.

Regular embossing creates a single raised surface, whereas 3D embossing can have multiple depths and different levels. The sculptural appearance of a design with varying heights and depths is only achievable through the 3D embossing process. Producing 3D embossed cards is more expensive due to the additional steps involved, and the overall process is slower and more precise.

3D embossing on a fixed 3D business card is only possible with a “blind” strike. This means the 3D embossing must be applied to an area of the design where no ink is present.

3D embossing also looks better on thicker and softer papers like 14-point linen or 10.5-point Onyx.
