Printing and burning CD, Mini CD, DVD, DVD5, DVD9
CD and DVD printing is done in both silk and offset
I) Silk printing (separated color) (one to eight colors) + white plot tone
II) Offset printing (pictorial) (CMYK) + white.
Burning CD/DVD is performed in two forms including duplicator (digital) and stamper.
A) Digital printing on CD/DVD
In this type of printing, discs used for CD/DVD are printable which are directly manufactured in reputable factories, provide an 8-color printing COPY TRAX equivalent to 4800dpi.
One benefit of this printing is that it is produced in any desired circulation and delivered daily.
B) Stamper with offset printing
Here, the production is in original silver stamper method. In this method, CD/DVD is produced by the use of automation according to customer order. First, an aluminum mold of content made during production is duplicated. This means that CD/DVD is burned without manpower during production, and offset or silk printing is performed on CD/DVD. The quality of CD/DVD printing in terms of burning and silver appearance (original) has made it a priority; however, because of high cost of molding, it is recommended for circulation of more than five thousand.
Some reasons for low cost:
In some print centers, the cost of producing CD/DVD may be much lower than even that of raw CD/DVD. It is noted that several basic factors should be considered:
I) The CD/DVD used may be manually printable, and due to the incompatibility of the material on CD, the print quality is reduced and some problems are created using this CD/DVD.
II) CD/DVD may be of grade 2 and 3, in which case the waste of it will increase.
III) Printing on CD/DVD by a conventional 4-color printer, which has less resolution than 8-color one, can be one of the reasons for decreased cost.
IV) Delivery time can be another reason for cost difference.
