PVC sheet printing is available in single-sided and double-sided, with thicknesses of 360 microns, 500 microns, and 760 microns, in matte and glossy finishes.The applications of PVC sheets include:

* Identification cards

* Business cards

* Information cards (magnetic) such as ATM cards

* Cup mats

* Mouse pad mats

* Clothing labels

PVC cards are available in white, metallic gold, and transparent.

PVC sheet printing is available in single-sided and double-sided, with CMYK + gold and silver colors.

Gold and silver stamping is also available.

Smart PVC cards are of two types:

A. Contact smart PVC cards (magnetic cards)

A magnetic smart card has one main element, which is a thick black stripe on the back.

It is used in bank cards, student cards, identification cards, and access cards.

There are several types of magnetic cards, the main difference between which is the magnetic stripe.

Magnetic cards are divided into two categories:

* Category 1: Hico => Black stripe

* Category 2: Loco => Brown stripe

Hico cards have higher magnetic properties and are used in longer-term projects such as bank cards.

Loco cards have shorter magnetic properties and are used in applications such as hotel room cards.

These cards require a reader to be read.

B. Non-contact smart PVC cards:

Mifare and RO (read-only) cards are of this type.

These cards do not require contact with the device to be read.

The information on the chip is read by bringing the card close to the device.

Mifare cards have a rectangular antenna and are readable and writable.

RO cards have a circular antenna and are only readable.

The subway card is an example of a non-contact card.
